  • Our team is made up of a variety of personalities from all over the place. We love to get outside and if you’re up for adventure, the opportunity is right at your doorstep. You can always jump in with a group if they’re heading out sledding or hiking.

    We love good food and drinks, so social gatherings often happen after work. Staff accom is fun as well.

    If you’re a respectful roommate, you’ll make friends easily. We all like to live in harmony so everyone can have a good experience.

  • Yes, the Best Western Plus Valemount Inn & Suites is family owned and operated. The same family owns two independent sister properties in Alberta - Mount Robson Inn in Jasper (1 hour and 15 minutes East of Valemount) and the Mountaineer Lodge in Lake Louise (4 hours South East of Valemount).

  • Valemont experiences warm, sunny days in the summer and cold, snowy times in the winter. We have wind and rain as well. Bring layers and even gear for opposite seasons because there’s a chance we may have all kinds of weather at any time of the year!

    If you’re moving into our furnished staff accommodations, one set of linens and towels will be provided for you. Please bring all other personal items.

  • If you’re hired to work at Best Western Plus Valemount, your manager will provide a uniform shirt and nametag. We ask all team members to wear comfortable, clean clothing, and appropriate footwear for walking and standing.

  • On your agreed upon arrival date, you’ll be greeted and shown to the staff accommodation. You will receive your orientation package which includes your employee handbook and some paperwork for you to complete.

    Your manager will also give you a work schedule which includes a training schedule. You will be shown around the property and get to meet the hotel team.
